Michal Rubin (born 1977) earned her BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2002 and her MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2013.

Over the years, Rubin has drawn inspiration from photographing those closest to her—her friends and family—creating a "visual diary" of intimate portraits. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including The Guardian, The New York Times, The Sunday Times, W Magazine, The Telegraph, V Magazine and Visionaire to name a few.

Rubin's work has been showcased in various galleries and public spaces, notably: Jerwood Space and Chisenhale Gallery in London, Gutman and Rubin Museum in Tel Aviv and Prizmaspace in Istanbul. Her recent solo show ‘Shallow Waters’ was shown at SQFT Gallery in London.

Currently based in London with her husband and two sons, Rubin continues to be inspired by the "magic of everyday life."
